or so it seemed - forms for this, forms for that, doctors, schools, immunisation clinics…. and more. However, I am sending my child around the world, so they really should know all this, but it is the 'un-fun’ part of exchange. It seems to go on and on and on and just one more form to sign, initial and witness. This is just to apply to go on exchange - in order to be accepted or rejected.
This is only the tip of the iceberg however, wait until they are accepted and visa applications need to be completed, sent off with passports to interstate destinations (you wonder if you will see it again and how are you going to get another one this close to them leaving - all of this goes around in your head but you send it anyway…. there is not an alternative scenario).
